ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Supervisor of Elections Karen Castor Dentel today announced the schedule for supervised voting ahead of the August 18 Primary.
As part of the supervised voting program, staff from the Orange County Supervisor of Elections Office visit eligible assisted living facilities and nursing homes to provide on-site voting for residents who have requested a vote-by-mail ballot. This service helps make voting more accessible for senior residents who may face challenges traveling to an early voting site or their Election Day polling place.
“Our voter outreach team has been working hard to help seniors at living facilities across Orange County register to vote, update their voter information, request vote-by-mail ballots, and answer questions about the election process,” said Orange County Supervisor of Elections Karen Castor Dentel. “Supervised voting plays an important role in ensuring every eligible voter has the opportunity to safely and conveniently cast their ballot.”
